BookBoon.com
Great site for free, legal ebooks. There is a wide range of ebooks to choose from including Accounting, Biology, Economics, IT, Finance, Law, Mathematics and much more. Note: Although you have to give your email address to get the ebooks, you don't have to register and the ebooks are really well made. And another thing, BookBoon.com was featured on BBC's Click show!

Nice simple site with content ranging from marketing to web design. An interesting plus for the site is a number of free ebooks in their download section. The (mini) ebooks range include computers, web design, programming, graphics, business, writing and even general subject ebooks. The ebooks need a password to download. The password is on the homepage .

Don't let the old school design of this website fool you. This site is choc full of great software. You will need to do a little hunting to get at the really good stuff but it's worth it.
DigiPen.edu
A rather well known academy for Computer Science as well as Game development. The games gallery hosts a large number of student made games that are available free of charge. Popular games include Nix and Nitronic Rush.
Freegamearchive.com
Another good freeware games site. It has a massive collection of games, but their quality ranges from mediocre at best to really good, unfortunately you really have to hunt for them, although all the games have already been rated in percentage. You can really find some unique games at this site too.
There are some problems with the website though:
1. The games in the various categories usually have screenshots but past a point there are no screenshots available.
2.Not all games are in English, always check the language the game was made for, if the language is 'en' then that's English, otherwise it is in another language.
3. The use of 'engrish' when reviewing games, you will know it when you see it :)

Starwraith.com
When it comes to commercial 3D space sims, Starwraith is definitely one of the big boys. Their games are graphically impressive and give the player freedom to do as they please. Check their demos out to see for yourself. You can also check out our Action page for some of their free games.
Wayback Machine
Who says time travel is impossible? With the wayback Machine you can time travel to the past, of websites that is. The wayback machine is an archive of websites that started archiving as far back as 1996! Paste a URL in the address bar and it will list all the archives it has on the website. Note: That not all websites have been archived and that not all parts of a website have been archived, so don't expect to get guaranteed results. But it is still a very impressive feat nonetheless.
